SHIRASAGI sibo series
When urushi lacquer is mixed with protein, a chemical reaction occurs and the mixture becomes sticky. By pounding the lacquer, fine angles are formed and the finish has a unique feel.
This process, called shibo-urushi, has been used since ancient times and is often applied to the backs of trays because of its durability and non-slip characteristics. The [SHIRASAGI sibo series] takes advantage of this practical method.
The feel like fine leather fits your hand as if it were moist and absorbs into your hand.

Shibo-Urushi, an old-fashioned construction method, is both traditional and practical: it is durable and non-slip.
The color of this traditional method has been made to fit modern dining tables.
Wiping lacquer × sibo
The inside of the bowl and the high base are finished with lacquer.
The outside is shibi-urushi finish.
Cautions
Please avoid using abrasive items such as scrubbers and cleansers, as they may cause scratches and peeling.
Do not leave it to soak in water, and wipe it dry immediately after washing.
Store out of direct sunlight.
Dishwashers, dish dryers, ovens, and microwave ovens are not suitable.
