The Roots of M-8
The M-8 was born in Higashi-Osaka, a manufacturing town. The M-8 has long been used at many sites in town factories to hold screws and other small parts, etc. Since the M-8 has no lid, it is possible to see at a glance what is inside. The red and blue M-8s have long been used for sorting parts at work sites by color-coding them with paint. Resin-made M-8s can crack and become uneven, but Toyo Steel's M-8s are made of sturdy steel, making them durable. It has been firmly supporting craftsmen's workplaces for a long time. This is the root of M-8.
M-8 Design
The body of the M8 is tapered using drawing techniques. Toyo Steel's tool boxes are originally designed to hold tools, so they have a straight body, but the M8 has this tapered shape to make it easier to scoop up small parts by hand.
