About the design
[UMU] is inspired by the process of twisting ramie, the raw material of Miyako Kamifu, into long, thin threads.
[AMU] represents the origin of folk crafts in Miyako Island, where plants such as kuba and adan were used to weave folk tools.
[KASURI ICHIMATSU][KASURI SHIMA] is a modern layout of motifs such as birds, nails, cow skins, and pig feeders selected from the Miyako Kamifu kasuri pattern, which has a meaning and name deeply rooted in the life of Miyako Island.

About Shimanone
A design brand that began as a collaboration between Yuimaru Okinawa Inc. and Okinawa Prefectural University of Arts.
[The brand is a "new Okinawan design that will be loved for a long time" that matches the sensibility of the current era, but is not a passing fad.
It was born with the aim of creating something that would not be a passing fad, while at the same time matching the sensibilities of the current era.
This time, su+ and Eri Shimatsuka, who has a connection with Okinawa, re-created a jointly developed design and were involved in the creation of the product.
