MORIKOUGEI, which specializes in wood made from paper-thin slices of wood, was founded in 1953 in Tokushima Prefecture, Japan, and has been making products for about 70 years to date.
We manufacture and sell trays with distinctive designs that are unique in that the color of the wood grain can be seen differently depending on the angle at which the light hits and the direction in which it is viewed, by devising ways of gluing and trimming the grain.
