Until now, the only product with a lid was the "Plastic Free Tumbler," but now a new series with a silicone lid has been added to the lineup.
The silicone lid is made of silicone, so it will not chip even if dropped and is easy to handle.

The main raw materials of PAPLUS® products are PLA (polylactic acid), which is mainly composed of lactic acid obtained by fermentation of corn starch, and paper.
By using earth-friendly materials, PAPLUS® products have the unique texture of natural materials like ceramics and wood products, and we value the individuality of the colors and shades so that they can be used with love and care.

Design with Attention to Detail
The PAPLUS® Matte Tumbler Black with Lid has a simple design to bring out the unique texture of the material.
The tumbler's side silhouette is straight, so the mold and post-processing were carefully selected. After the final polishing (blasting) process to create a matte texture, a matte black coating is applied to the surface only to create a two-tone color.

About Urethane Coating
The coating used this time is a urethane coating, in which black pigment is dissolved in urethane resin, and is an artificial coating that is considered harmless to the human body and complies with the Food Sanitation Law. PAPLUS®, which has a high ratio of naturally occurring ingredients, is a little delicate to water, just like wood products, but the urethane coating increases its water resistance and reduces the speed of aging.
In fact, the main raw material of PAPLUS®, corn-derived biodegradable resin (polylactic acid), has a property of repelling paint. We were able to solve this problem by using the undercoating technology of a partner factory that has expertise in lacquer coating, a Japanese manufacturing technique.
*The painted parts of the recovered color variations can be peeled off with a grinder or other tool, and since the inside is not painted, only the pure PAPLUS® material can be efficiently sent to the reprocessing process.

■Care for Packaging
The package is made of [chipboard], which is 100% recycled paper made from used newspapers and magazines.

■Warm drinks are also OK
While many products with high purity plant-derived ingredients do not have heat resistance functions, PAPLUS® Matte Tumbler's heat resistance temperature is 120°C, so you can use it for warm drinks with peace of mind.

A material that harmonizes with the earth
Approximately 86% of PAPLUS® Matte Tumbler is made of corn-derived resin and paper, which are plant-derived components.
To these main components, natural viscosity minerals (approx. 7%) and petroleum-derived additives (approx. 7%) are added to ensure the heat-resistant function. *1
The majority of the material is decomposed into water and carbon dioxide by the action of microorganisms. *2

There are many eco-friendly products that do not mention additives.
Please be aware of this.

Recycle instead of throw away
PAPLUS® products are incinerated if they are thrown away as garbage. However, we ask for your cooperation in collecting them as a resource and reprocessing them instead of incinerating them as garbage. Let's create a new cycle together.
