    The frame is made from approximately two 500ml plastic bottles.

    Because no metal parts are used, there is no risk of rust or deterioration, and the design is easy to recycle.

    Biodegradable plastic lenses are used for clear vision and durability.

    When the lenses are disposed of in landfills, they biodegrade into carbon dioxide, water, and biomass, returning to the soil.

    The lens wipes are made from plastic bottles, and the special case is made from recycled paper.

    The glasses are manufactured at a factory in Fukui Prefecture, Japan, which boasts a 90% share of the Japanese eyeglass production market.
