    This leather is made of steer hide from North America. The surface is not coated with pigments, but finished with oil, and vegetable tannin is added to the tanning process to create a firm leather that can be enjoyed as it ages. The leather is then tanned with vegetable tannin to give it a firmness that can be enjoyed as it ages.
