Hexagonal Seto ware stained with traditional glaze
This simple dish is produced using the traditional technique of "Kake-Shate" in Seto, a place famous for its pottery, and gives you a sense of the quality of pottery.
The colored glaze, which is dyed only in one corner, is made of six typical colors of Seto Yaki: [Shu], [Kisai], [Ame], [Celadon], [Oribe], and [Ruri].
Hexagons, which have long been popular as a lucky motif, are shapes that are connected like a beehive.
It is wonderful to arrange several pieces side by side and coordinate them on the table as if they were connected.
A vessel that can be used every day
The fine-density clay is baked at high temperatures, making it strong and resistant to cracking and chipping.
It can be used in the microwave, dishwasher, and oven, and is easy to maintain on a daily basis.
The bumpy surface of the ceramic clay leaves just the right amount of texture, giving it a one-of-a-kind flavor, and at the same time, it is easy to keep clean as stains and spots do not stick to it.
It can also be used as a children's bowl without hesitation.
